The Little Seed That Wanted to Grow

“The Little Seed That Wanted to Grow” – a cute story for your next kids’ class.

“Beneath the soft earth, a tiny seed lay still and quiet. It wasn’t in a hurry, it simply dreamed of growing into whatever it was meant to be. “Maybe if I listen and wait,” thought the seed, “I’ll know when it’s time.”

  • It curled up in the darkness, resting deep in the soil. – Balasana
    “I rest. I listen.”
  • Raindrops fell. The seed stirred, moving gently with the earth. – Marjaryasana–Bitilasana
    “I begin to wake.”
  • It pushed through the soil, lifting its tiny stem to the light. – Bhujangasana
    “I reach. I open.”
  • It stretched upward to meet the sun. – Anjaneyasana
    “I grow. I open.”
  • Swaying softly in the breeze, it stood firm. – Vrksasana
    “I grow. I stay rooted.”
  • Now it stood tall, strong and calm. – Tadasana
    “I am.”

The seed had grown. Not by rushing, but by listening, breathing and staying true to itself.”

You can close the session with: “Like the little seed, we grow in our own time. With rest, breath and care, we become who we’re meant to be.”
