The Journey of the Snowflake

“The Journey of the Snowflake” – a soft, reflective story for your next kid’s yoga class.

“High above the clouds, where the air is thin and quiet, a single snowflake named Lumi was born from a shimmering cloud. She spun and twirled gently in the sky, ready for a journey through wind, wonder, and new ways of seeing the world.

  • Lumi began her descent with a soft breath. – Sukhasana
    “I’m light. I’m here.”

  • The wind picked up, swirling her in wide circles. – Ardha Matsyendrasana
“I look left. I look right. I see more.”

  • She soared through open air, arms out like wings. – Virabhadrasana III
“I fly with grace. I stay steady.”

  • Lumi passed treetops dusted with snow and landed softly on a branch. – Vrksasana
“I am quiet. I am grounded.”

  • She slid off the branch, tumbling gently to the earth. – Uttanasana
    “I let go. I soften.”

  • Finally, Lumi rested on the snowy ground, melting slowly into stillness. – Balasana
    “I become part of everything.”

The snowflake’s journey was quiet, but full of beauty. She had seen the world from above and below, through movement and stillness. And in every moment, she stayed soft and true.”

You can close the session with: “Like Lumi, we can float through change with softness, see with new eyes, and always land gently.”
